Job Description
The Essex Westford School District is seeking oncall RNs to serve as a substitute school nurse.
Essex Westford School District (EWSD) has an opportunity for a substitute school nurse to join the EWSD community. This positionsoperations include but are not limited to following all COVID19 health and safety protocols triage physical assessment implementing health plans responding to emergencies and contacting parents providers and school staff as necessary.
Pay:$290.00 per day
EWSD offers selected candidates up to a halfday of orientation before serving as a substitute.
Candidates with the following qualifications are encouraged to apply:
- Qualified candidates must hold a valid Vermont RN license.
- Two years of nursing experience is desired. Pediatric experience preferred.
- Ability to effectively handle stress and resolve conflicts
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality of student incidences and records
- Willingness and availability to work on short notice to cover unanticipated absences strongly desired (e.g.: the morning of an absence)
