About the Role:
A food manufacturing company is seeking a highly capable Operational Controller to oversee and optimize their financial operations. This is a critical leadership role requiring a handson financial expert who can bring structure and drive efficiency across all accounting functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong financial background excellent forecasting abilities and a leadership mindset to support an accounting team of 3. The role requires someone who can operate in a fastpaced highpressure environment ensure accurate financial reporting and assist in driving the companys financial growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounting functions ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Manage billing incoming payments and bank reconciliations.
- Maintain relationships with banks ensuring smooth financial operations.
- Develop and implement budget forecasting and projections to drive financial strategy.
- Bring fundamental accounting structure to improve financial reporting and internal controls.
- Ensure the clerical team handles their roles effectively.
- Work closely with the CEO and other leadership teams to provide financial insights.
Who You Are:
- A strong financial leader.
- Background in manufacturing production or similar industries is preferred but not required.
- Highly detailoriented with the ability to forecast budget and manage financial risks effectively.
- Capable of working in highpressure environments and keeping operations running smoothly.
- Comfortable being handson and strategic ensuring that financial functions operate efficiently.
