Overview
Sedaro is hiring an engineering manager to lead a backend team building collaborative modeling and simulation tools. You will drive architectural improvements launch new capabilities and enable our customers to build and operate sophisticated space systems.
- Reports to the Director of Engineering
- In person in Arlington VA
- U.S. Citizen or permanent resident status required

- Build and lead a winning team through hiring mentorship and a culture of continuous improvement
- Channel customer feedback and KPIs to empower and orient your team
- Rapidly deliver value to the business and our customers using Lean practices
- Collaborate across disciplines to architect support for cuttingedge complexity
- Drive operational excellence through a distributed scalable and observable architecture

Requirements
- Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent experience
- 8 years of software engineering experience
- Track record of delivering complex projects through iterative development
- Experience managing and mentoring engineers
- Expertise with distributed systems cloud architecture and CI/CD
- Handson experience with performance optimization
Additional desirable experience:
- Experience with simulation or realtime systems
- Background in DevSecOps practices
- Languages: Rust Python TypeScript Node
- Infrastructure: Kubernetes Terraform Postgres
