Job Summary
Job Description
The primary responsibility of the CNC Programmer is to ensure that job orders are properly and safely fabricated.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
Program daily production orders.
Ensure CNC machines are properly utilized though optimizing programs and daily production runs.
Ensure all orders or programs are realized in a timely manner.
Work with Design Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering Depts. to revise prints or report discrepancies; Coordinate with the operator and supervisor daily ensure enough programs are available to fully utilize time and equipment.
Design/follow process control plans routings and work instructions.
Knowledge Skills & Abilities
24 years of relevant experience.
Bachelors degree or equivalent in a related field.
Ability to comprehend and create routings bill of materials work instructions and check sheets.
Ability to program CNC Equipment i.e. Mill Turret and Lathe with unigraphics and troubleshoot programming on machinery.
3D Modeling Experience (unigraphics/mastercam).
Good analytical problemsolving skills interpersonal skills selfmotivated and team oriented
Ability to deal with change and respond quickly to a fastpaced environment.
