Job Description

As an AWS Software Engineer III Full Stack Java/Angular at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate Sector Liquidity Risk Infrastructure Team you will be a seasoned member of an agile team. Your role will involve designing and delivering trusted marketleading technology products in a secure stable and scalable manner. You will be responsible for implementing critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions all in support of the firms business objectives.
Job responsibilities
- Executes software solutions design development and technical troubleshooting with the ability to think beyond conventional approaches to build solutions or resolve technical problems
- Works in a fullstack capacity utilizing both frontend and backend capabilities
- Creates secure highquality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems
- Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications ensuring design constraints are met by the software code development
- Gathers analyzes synthesizes and develops visualizations and reports from large diverse data sets to continuously improve software applications and systems
- Proactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data using these insights to enhance coding hygiene and system architecture
- Contributes to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies
- Enhances team culture by promoting diversity equity inclusion and respect.
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 3 years of applied experience
- Practical experience in system design application development testing and ensuring operational stability
- Proficient in coding with one or more languages including Java
- Experience in developing applications and microservices using Spring Boot technologies
- Skilled in enterpriselevel batch processing with Spring Batch
Handson experience with modern frontend technologies with Angular or React - Proficient in developing debugging and maintaining code in large corporate environments using modern programming and database querying languages
Experience in migrating applications to AWS public cloud - Comprehensive knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies including CI/CD application resiliency and security
- Demonstrated expertise in software applications and technical processes within disciplines such as cloud AI machine learning and mobile
Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills
- Familiarity with React frontend technologies
- Certification in AWS Cloud technologies
