  1. JOB PURPOSE

Responsible for daytoday operation and maintenance activities repair troubleshooting Inspection work of various Mechanical Installations. Having specialization skill & experience in Heating Ventilation & AirConditioning HVAC)Systemin any large industry/organization. Also having experience in one or more of the Mechanical Airport installations such as Passenger Boarding Bridges (PBB) Baggage Handling system (BHS) Elevators Escalators & Travelators (VHT) LPG Installations etc.

Major Activities

Timely Review of Installations and maintenance task

  • Compliance of Mechanical department activities with national and international standards

Effective Maintenance planning and ensure timely Completion

  • Ensure serviceability of all Centralized HVAC equipment including Chiller pumps Cooling Tower AHU Ventilation Fans BMS VRF etc.
  • Having specialist skill & knowledge on Centralized HVAC system Precision AirConditioners (PAC) AirCooled & water Cooled Chillers VRF System etc.
  • Coordinating the daily shift activities of other Mechanical Installations (HVAC BHS PBB VHT etc)
  • Coordination with the Project team/EPC/Design Team fon HVAC system
  • Carrying out scheduled preventive breakdown & predictive maintenance of T1 & T2 Mechanical Installations (FFS HVAC BHS PBB VHT etc)
  • Monitoring the work progress & providing timely feedback.
  • Ensure that suitable Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) Plans are carried out for all Mechanical Systems.
  • Ensure that the maintenance work report is fully documented and uploaded into SAP/Maximo after completion of work.
  • Daily checking of HVAC FFS BHS PBB Elevators & Escalators
  • Supervising a pool of skilled and semiskilled outsourced staffs carrying out maintenance task. Carryout specially assigned task/works effectively.
  • To ensure proper segregation of hazardous waste and nonhazardous waste.
  • Restore the facilities within the acceptable down time limits through effective corrective actions
  • Updating Daily Log book call register in share folder Maintenance Records & Charts
  • Inspection of all PPEs First Aid Box with expiry date and briefing of Dos & Donts with report in every shift to minimize the accident.
  • Coordinating with Internal Departments & external departments like CISF Annual Maintenance Contractors Concessionaries & Vendors etc.
  • Record Updation Document maintenance etc

Contract Management: efficiently and professionally manage contracts

  • To ensure the labour regulations in the contract legal & Statutory compliance
  • Compliance; coordinates with Daily operation and contractors

Training to Staff

  • Training to staff in the troubleshooting & personal safety
  • Develops implements and trains staff; instructs staff in regulations codes and work techniques and the proper use and maintenance of all equipment

Effective Spare Parts Managements

  • Availability and proper storage of all identified key spare parts
  • Spare parts Planning cost criticality Analysis
  • Spare parts controlRegularly/irregularly used spare parts
  • Ensures availability of adequate materials to conduct work activities; approves and/or initiates orders for new/replacement materials.

Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics Engineering or Equivalent

Degree Holders: Should have Minimum 5 years of relevant working Experiencein a large industry/Airport/corporate sector.

Diploma Holders: Should have Minimum 8 years of relevant working Experiencein large industry/Airport/corporate sector.

5.3. Computer skills(Indicate the required knowledge on software applications hardware etc. that are required)

MSOffice (Word Excel Power point Outlook)

5.4. Knowledge and work skillsIndicate what knowledge (machines equipment processes systems etc. and work skills are required

  • Specialized Experience in centralized Heating Ventilation & AirConditioning (HVAC) System including Chiller Air Handling Units (AHU) Ventilation system Chilled Water & Condenser water Pumps Cooling Towers Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) system Chiller Plant Optimizer (CPO) Chemical dosing system Precision AirConditioning system (PAC) Variable Air Volume (VAV) BMS Heat Recovery Wheel (HRW) etc.
  • Maintaining spares & minimum inventory
  • knowledge on airport operations and core processes
  • of maintenance activities as per maintenance schedule & maintaining of maintenance records.
  • Ability to obtain work permits from concern authority with BIAL inspection of site before releasing to maintenance activity ensures safety of machine & man power ensure right tools for maintenance and carry out maintenance activity & closing of work permits after completion of maintenance activity.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal; fluent in English (oral and written)
