Our Novelis Uhrichsville OH facility is seeking to add an experienced General Laborer to its team. Offering a competitive starting wage with a raise after completing probationary period. This position will support our 24/7 aluminum rolling operations. We will provide a training as we are here to provide opportunity for success.

Responsibilities & Qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Maintains a safe working environment by complying with Novelis HSE standards and policies all state and federal regulations and company policies and procedures.
- Operate a variety of mobile equipment including but not limited to; forklift skid steer overhead crane.
- Coordinate and carry out various tasks as assigned by management.
- Perform repetitive tasks and assist others to provide an organized and clean workplace including assigned areas of the plant workstations equipment walkways and locker rooms.
- Notify appropriate personnel of irregularities in operating equipment or materials; maintain clean and orderly conditions in work area.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Be able to safely work alone or as part of a team capable of selfdirection.
- Basic computer and math skills are required.
- Ability to pass a preemployment background check physical and drug screen
- Ability to work as scheduled (including overtime weekends and holidays) to support our 24/7 operations
- Dependable teamplayer who can demonstrate initiative.
- Must have basic knowledge of hand tools and possess a mechanical aptitude.
- Must be flexible as job focus and assignments may change daily and by the hour.
Location Profile
Opened in 1985 the Uhrichsville facility produces flat rolled aluminum coil. The Recycling mill prepares s aluminum that is used in the rolling mill to create rolled aluminum coils to a desired gauge. Anneals temper the aluminum then it is leveled and sized to customer specification. Employing more than 400 people the facility produces aluminum sheet for building and construction automotive distribution transportation and consumer durable applications.
