Role Summary
To support manufacturing by improving department efficiency in a safe high quality and productive manner by ensuring die changes are made efficiently and tools are maintained in a way that leads to effective manufacturing and quality product.

Key Responsibilities
- Insure quality of all parts produced in assigned work area
- Move and setup dies on bolsters
- Perform all external setup duties as required for presses including prepare tools bolts hoses lube systems.
- Operate crane
- Maintain tool inventory at presses for changeovers
- Serve as integral part of changeover team; work on each changeover
- Maintain dies in organized fashion
- Perform minor routine maintenance around presses and dies
- Perform preventative maintenance of components
- Attain safety quality and productivity goals
- Learn all aspects of all parts produced in assigned work area including critical quality factors customer needs and acceptable standards
Key Qualifications/Requirements
- Able to demonstrate understanding of how job performance affects product quality and customer satisfaction
- Able to work well with others; build and maintain positive employee relations
- Able to prepare read and interpret written reports instructions procedures and guidelines
- Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from management employees suppliers and customers
- Able to maintain confidentiality and use discretion and tact
- Able to manage and schedule multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Able to work flexible hours to be available to three 3 shifts
- Able to calculate inch to milometers or milometer to inches
- Able to use technology and software as required
