Position Summary
The UNC Greensboro School of Nursing is seeking fulltime nursing faculty to teach courses and supervise student practicums primarily in the MSN and DNP programs for FNP and AGPCNP students starting January 2 2025. Candidates will have expertise in primary care management at an advanced practice RN level. Academic rank (Clinical Instructor or Clinical Assistant Professor Clinical Associate Professor or Clinical Professor) will be determined based on education and experience. The School is recruiting creative innovative and highly motivated candidates who want to advance their academic careers and support the teaching scholarship and service mission of the UNCG School of Nursing. Ideal candidates will have current FNP AGPCNP or ANP certification teaching and current clinical experience and a background in evidencebased practice. Candidates must hold a doctoral degree in nursing or a related field; and current national certification as an FNP AGPCNP or ANP by either ANCC or AANP . An unencumbered RN license and approval to practice as a FNP AGPCNP or ANP in North Carolina is required prior to the employment date. Must have two years or the equivalent of fulltime clinical experience as an NP. Salary and rank will be commensurate with experience and credentials.
