Monday Wednesday Friday. Varied Hours.
Locations: Rock Island Trinity West Hosp
Shift Differentials: Base 12 for any hours worked 6pm6am $1/hr for all hours worked on Sat/Sundays
Utilizing the FOCUS values coordinates and implements physical activity/exercise rehab care of patients within the cardiac / pulmonary rehab program under the direction of the Department Manager. Performs work of considerable difficulty. Represents UPH Trinity Medical Center and works to improve the health of the communities we serve.
Responsible for exercise prescription and progression of patients in program Responsible for safe exercise programming Assist with evaluation and discharge of patients Assist with patient education.
Reviews patient health history and adjusts initial exercise prescription/plan.
Education: Bachelors degree in exercise science Human performance or equivalent. Masters degree preferred.
Experience: Previous experience in rehab setting internship or clinical setting preferred.
License(s)/Certification(s):Must maintain current CPR Certification. CCRP CEP ACSM exercise specialist preferred. ACLS certification
