Reports To:ESY CoordinatorDanvers Public Schools is seeking an Extended School Year SpeechLanguage Pathologist for the ESY program. This is a nonbenefited parttime seasonal position for the 2025 summer. This is a MondaythroughThursday program running from July 7 2025 to August 7 2025Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled SpeechLanguage Pathologist (SLP) to join our team during the Extended School Year Program (ESY) for students with disabilities. The SLP will treat students with speech language and communication disorders and collaborate with teachers parents and other school staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs). Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement speech therapy interventions tailored to the specific needs of each student.Provide direct oneonone and small group therapy sessions to students with speech and language disorders focusing on improving articulation fluency receptive and expressive language and social communication and pragmatic language skills.Collaborate with special education staff to ensure that speech and language goals are integrated into the students academic programs.Document and maintain accurate and uptodate records of therapy sessions progress reports and other required paperwork in compliance with school and state regulations.Ensure adherence to confidentiality guidelines and ethical standards established by the American SpeechLanguageHearing Association (ASHA) and other relevant professional organizations.Additional Information:
