Sales Application Engineer
Location Worcestershire
Salary Up to 35000
An exciting opportunity has come up to join a leading global provider of engineered process safety solutions as a Sales Applications Engineer. You will join a small friendly team to provide technical sales support to our customers.
Job Role
After completing industryleading training and development the Applications Engineer will assist customers with all aspects of sizing and selecting products and engineered solutions based on applicationspecific data. You will be responsible for preparing technical and commercial proposals for customers and supporting the Regional Sales Managers.
Responsibilities
- Review and interpret technical documents like P&IDs drawings and specifications.
- Provide expert advice on explosion protection solutions for flammable vapor systems.
- Size pressure and vacuum relief valves for storage tank applications.
- Manage engineering projects from bid to delivery ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure excellent customer support.
- Provide technical and commercial assistance to regional managers and travel for training client support and trade shows.
Background Required:
- BSc in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or relevant industry experience.
- Minimum 3 years in a technical/commercial sales role.
- Ability to work independently or in an international team.
- Strong communication skills and relationshipbuilding within teams.
- Proficient in MS Office.
