The Associate Consultant (Inbound) role is the gateway to career growth at Franklin Templeton. Our team thrives on collaboration creative challenges and thoughtful communication with customers. What can you expect in the first few months

  • This role requires the FINRA SIE (Securities Industries Essentials) Series 7 & 63 if you arent already licensed. You will be given the resources coaching and complete support to ensure you are prepared to take the FINRA Series licensing exams. We find that we average over 90 pass rate for first time takers!

  • Once licensed it is time to dig into training. Each new hire receives training on Franklin Templetons products technology portfolio construction sales and operations. We make sure you are comfortable and have the resources needed to be successful.

  • After training you will be ready to serve as the first point of contact for our partners. You will respond to calls/inquiries regarding product solutions capital market updates fund performance and fundamental portfolio construction.

What are the ongoing responsibilities of a person in the ACI role

  • Responds to inbound calls/inquiries from internal and external clients.

  • Develops ongoing relationships with Financial Advisors influencing their exposure to Franklin Templeton

  • Provides advice and insights to clients regarding market/industry trends and FT products services and resources.

  • Possesses fundamental knowledge of key competitor products to position with FT products and services.

  • Applies understanding of portfolio construction design to consult with clients on their portfolio needs and opportunities.

  • Uses tools such as hypothetical illustrations and portfolio construction (resources) tools.

  • Collaborates with other operations teams (customer service customer success case management and quality assurance) to ensure a seamless customer experience

  • Receives coaching once ready to make businessdevelopment/campaign/schedulingsales calls across multiple product solutions and multiple distribution teams.

  • Improves knowledge and skills through regular coaching training and feedback

  • Listens to calls participates in team meetings and classroom training and reads industry related articles andpublications to gain capital markets insights and sales presentation selfdevelopment.

  • Enrolls in continuing education to further develop industry knowledge and prepare market commentary.

Whatare we looking for

  • Associate degreeor equivalent experience

  • FINRA SIE Series 7 & 63 licensed or ready tostudy and pass the exams in the first 90 days

  • 24 years related experience preferred including work experience internships and college coursework

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills over the phone and in person.

  • Passion for the financial markets with an interest in continuous learning

  • Independentworker; selfmotivated and organized with exceptional time management skills. We work as a team but you set the pace.

  • Interested in arewardingcareer in financial servicesby building relationships with clients.
