About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and detailoriented Compliance and Operations Administrator to join our team. In this role you will oversee regulatory compliance operational processes and staff management while ensuring the highest standards of care and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health administration behavioral health and compliance with proven leadership skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure Regulatory Compliance & Readiness:
Stay updated with changes to licensing and Community Mental Health (CMH) requirements.
Prepare for site reviews inspections and audits by ensuring compliance with applicable standards.
Conduct internal audits and implement corrective actions as needed to maintain compliance.
Communication & Collaboration:
Build and maintain relationships with CMH teams (Corporate Compliance Contract Manager Quality Improvement Team Support Coordinators) vendors guardians and case managers to ensure smooth operations.
Communicate effectively with all stakeholders addressing any compliance concerns or operational issues.
Policy Creation & Oversight:
Develop revise and enforce companywide policies and procedures ensuring they align with regulatory standards and best practices.
Oversee the implementation of corrective actions as needed and ensure staff compliance with established protocols.
Team Leadership & Mentorship:
Manage coach and mentor a team of Operations Associates to ensure a high level of performance and engagement.
Monitor daily weekly and monthly managerial tasks providing guidance and support to ensure timely completion.
Staff Training & Development:
Oversee new employee orientations training programs and ongoing staff education including background checks medical clearances and certifications.
Schedule and ensure completion of refresher training programs (CPI CPR TB and Receipt Rights).
Resident Care & Documentation Oversight:
Ensure the wellbeing of residents overseeing progress notes Critical Incident Reports and other required CMH documents (e.g. IPOS Behavior Plans Crisis Plans Psychosocial).
Review and oversee the completion of all licensing and CMHrelated paperwork.
Ethical Standards & Compliance:
Ensure staff adhere to high ethical and professional standards in all aspects of their work.
Participate in relevant Coordinated Care Professional Services LLC committees and collaborate on quality improvement initiatives.
Operational Excellence & CARF Accreditation:
Oversee the implementation of CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) standards ensuring compliance with accreditation guidelines.
Manage contracts licensing applications and other regulatory requirements.
Flexibility & Commitment:
Be flexible and committed to working evenings and weekends as required to meet operational needs and ensure compliance.
Maintain a positive and open relationship with management staff and all stakeholders.
Additional Responsibilities:
Complete any additional tasks assigned by the Chief Operating Officer to support the companys goals and operations.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelors degree in Health Administration Behavioral Health or a related field is required.
23 years of leadership experience in a healthrelated field with a focus on compliance and operations.
23 years of experience ensuring compliance with federal state and local regulations.
Current or previous experience working with behavioral health issues is highly preferred.
