Job Description
Mechanical Engineer IV Albuquerque NM

Role Overview:
As a Mechanical Engineer IV you will apply your expertise to create final construction drawings support clients throughout the project lifecycle and mentor junior engineers and CAD drafters. This position requires 6 years of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce accurate and timely mechanical design elements
- Create engineering construction documents suitable for permitting
- Participate in postdesign activities
- Ensure design quality meets established standards
- Manage project timelines and communication
- Provide consultation on schedules codes and standards
- Prepare project specifications and billing
- Actively seek process improvements and cost reduction
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in engineering
- 6 years of relevant experience
- Understanding of construction process and drawing interpretation
- Expert knowledge of building codes and standards
- Knowledge of mechanical engineering and other trades
- Superior expertise in a specific sector
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit
- Excellent communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- EIT and/or PE
- 010 travel flexibility
