Responsibilities & Qualifications
RESPONSIBILITIES
Led and manage largescale IT projects 8 years) experience and successfully managing a budget more than $10M ensuring successful realization of all project deliverables.
Manage the project autonomously with minimal supervision proactively addressing and resolving action items issues and risks.
Apply project management processes and best practices creatively to ensure success in unique situations.
Oversee all phases of the project life cycle: Initiating Planning Executing Monitoring & Controlling and Closing Projects.
Ensure that project goals are achieved within scope time cost and quality constraints.
Effectively manage and control the project scope schedule budget quality and risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Continuously monitor project performance and implement corrective actions as necessary to ensure objectives are met.
Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders.
Manage stakeholder expectations providing regular updates on project status issues and risks.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate project success.
Lead and direct multidisciplinary project teams to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of project objectives.
Foster collaboration communication and accountability within project teams to achieve high performance.
Regularly assess the health of the project identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures when needed.
Ensure effective tracking and reporting on project metrics performance and progress toward objectives.
Develop comprehensive project plans including detailed schedules resource estimates quality requirements and change management activities.
Create and manage detailed work breakdown structures (WBS) and track project progress against established milestones.
Document and monitor project work breakdowns and ensure the timely and accurate reporting of project status to senior management.
Provide detailed reports on project performance highlighting achievements challenges and risk mitigation strategies.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Active Secret security clearance
Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification
- 8 Years exeperience in large scale IT projects
B.S. Degree in engineering math and/or science or related filed
Proficient in Microsoft project
- Willingness to travel as required for meetings and training sessions
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- M.S. Degree from an accredited institution (preferred)
