Companion Caregiver

Senior Helpers is looking for Companions for a variety of day shift hours starting at 2 hour visits up to 6 hour shifts. Senior Helpers provides our clients with care in Assisted Living Senior Living Nursing Homes as well as Residential InHome Care.

Requirements

Valid drivers license reliable vehicle and auto insurance

Able to pass Criminal Background Check

TB Required : 2 Step PPD Quantiforum or a Chest XRay

Social Security Card

Must be able to work with male and female clients

Comfortable with cats and dogs

Comfortable with clients that smoke

Able to take clients out in personal vehicle for errands appointments outings and procedures when required.

Job Duties

Job Duties are subject to change based on clients personalized care plans but are not limited to

• Able to drive.

• Has a clean reliable car.

• Able to hold conversations with others.

• Enjoys shopping errands etc

• Housekeeping dusting furniture sweeping and mopping floors cleaning bathrooms.

• Cooking preparation of meals for clients.

• Enjoys interaction: playing games coloring listening to music reading to others.
