An Independent school in Barnet requires a knowledgeable Economics Teacher to join them from September. This is a permanent fulltime position. The ideal Economics Teacher will deliver engaging lessons to Key Stages 4 and 5. We are looking for a dedicated Economics Teacher.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Economics Teacher lessons covering core economic concepts.
- Prepare students for GCSE and ALevel examinations.
- Develop students understanding of economic principles and analytical skills.
- Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the development of the economics curriculum and resources.
- Organise and lead economicsrelated extracurricular activities.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Economics.
- Proven experience teaching economics at secondary level.
- Strong subject knowledge and understanding of economic theory.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
