An Independent school in Barnet requires a creative Drama Teacher starting ASAP for a temporary fulltime position. You will deliver inspiring drama lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4. We are looking for a dedicated Drama Teacher to join our team immediately.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Drama Teacher lessons focusing on acting improvisation and stagecraft.
- Prepare students for upcoming performances and assessments.
- Develop students confidence communication and teamwork skills.
- Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the development of the drama curriculum and resources.
- Organise and potentially lead dramarelated extracurricular activities.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Drama.
- Proven experience in teaching drama at secondary level.
- Strong acting directing and theatrical experience.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate students.
- Availability to start ASAP.
