Job Description
An Outstanding mixed school in Enfield requires a dedicated History Teacher starting ASAP for a temporary fulltime position. The ideal History Teacher will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. We are looking for a passionate History Teacher ready to start immediately.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging History Teacher lessons tailored to the curriculum.
- Prepare students for upcoming assessments and examinations.
- Develop students understanding of historical concepts and analytical skills.
- Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the development of history resources.
- Organise and lead historyrelated extracurricular activities.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in History.
- Proven experience in teaching history at secondary level.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for history.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Availability to start ASAP.
