About the Sociology Teacher Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Sociology Teacher to join our successful Social Sciences department. You will be responsible for teaching Sociology to A Level students inspiring them with your subject knowledge and innovative teaching methods.
Responsibilities of the Sociology Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Sociology lessons.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the development of the Sociology curriculum.
- Create a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Participate in departmental and schoolwide activities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A recognized teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE QTS).
- A degree in Sociology or a related field.
- Experience teaching Sociology at the secondary level.
- A strong understanding of the UK curriculum and A Level exam specifications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
