About the Science Teacher Role
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Science Teacher to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4 inspiring students with engaging lessons and handson experiments.
Responsibilities of the Science Teacher:
- Plan and deliver highquality Science lessons that cater to a range of learning styles and abilities.
- Create a stimulating and supportive learning environment where students can explore scientific concepts and develop their practical skills.
- Assess and monitor student progress in Science providing constructive feedback and support.
- Contribute to the development of the Science curriculum and departmental resources.
- Stay uptodate with the latest advancements in Science and incorporate new technologies into the classroom.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and ensure the highest standards of Science teaching.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in a Sciencerelated field.
- Experience teaching Science at the secondary level.
- A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Science.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and classroom management skills.
- A passion for Science and a commitment to inspiring students.
