Job Description

Department: Operations

Location: Shilphata / Sakinaka Mumbai
Reports To: Director
Working Hours: 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM (Six days working)

Job Overview

The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daytoday operations of all parking facilities ensuring the smooth running of parking systems and delivering highquality service to customers. This role includes managing staff developing operational procedures maintaining safety and cleanliness standards and driving revenue growth. The Operations Manager will work to optimize the performance of parking facilities and ensure a high standard of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee Daily Operations: Manage parking facilities including garages surface lots and valet parking services.
  • Staff Management: Hire train and supervise parking staff to ensure efficient operations.
  • Policy Development: Develop and implement parking policies and operational procedures to maintain safety efficiency and service quality.
  • Facility Maintenance: Ensure all parking facilities are wellmaintained clean and safe for both customers and staff.
  • Financial Management: Oversee parking revenue manage expenses and ensure the optimization of costs.
  • Budgeting: Prepare manage and present parking budgets to senior management.
  • Customer Service: Address and resolve any customer complaints ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
  • Surveys & Improvement: Conduct surveys to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to optimize parking operations.
  • Coordination for Special Events: Collaborate with other departments to coordinate parking arrangements for special events and activities.
  • Stay Current with Trends: Stay uptodate with the latest trends technologies and best practices in the parking industry.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Contractor Negotiations: Ability to finalize contracts and negotiate terms with contractors.
  • Manpower & Site Management: Follow up with contractors for timely manpower supply and ensure onsite progress aligns with schedule.
  • Client Relations: Address client queries related to project timelines manpower availability and material delivery.
  • Project Continuation: Ensure that projects continue as per schedule with timely material delivery and manpower deployment.
  • Liaison Role: Act as a liaison between installation/maintenance teams production and clients.
  • Site Handover: Ensure proper site handover process is completed in line with company policies and documentation.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Educational Qualification:
    • BE in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 8 years of overall experience in operations with at least 2 years of experience in a managerial role.
  • Other Requirements:
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Proficient in budget management and financial reporting.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Knowledge of parking industry standards and technologies is an advantage.
