Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Physical Education Teacher to join an Outstanding Mixed school in Brent starting in September. This is a fulltime permanent position for a dedicated Physical Education Teacher to promote physical activity and healthy lifestyles across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective Physical Education Teacher lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Prepare students for practical assessments and examinations in PE.
- Develop students physical fitness skills and understanding of sports and health.
- Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback as a Physical Education Teacher.
- Contribute to the organisation and delivery of extracurricular sports activities.
- Uphold the schools ethos of teamwork and support as a valued Physical Education Teacher.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Physical Education.
- Proven experience in teaching PE at secondary level.
- Strong knowledge of various sports and physical activities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as a Physical Education Teacher.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities in PE.
- A commitment to collaborative teamwork and a supportive school environment.
