An Independent school in Barnet requires a dedicated Geography Teacher starting ASAP for a temporary fulltime position. The ideal Geography Teacher will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. We require a passionate Geography Teacher for an immediate start.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Geography Teacher lessons tailored to the curriculum.
- Prepare students for upcoming assessments and examinations.
- Develop students understanding of geographical concepts and global issues.
- Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the development of the geography curriculum and resources.
- Organise and lead geographyrelated extracurricular activities.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Geography.
- Proven experience in teaching geography at secondary level.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for geography.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate students.
- Availability to start ASAP.
