Job Description
We are seeking a Senior JAVA Backend Engineer (m/f/d) with SAP expertise to design develop and maintain APIs implement robust testing and collaborate with crossfunctional teams. The role is based in Barcelona with English as the working language.

Your tasks
Design develop and maintain secure scalable RESTful APIs for the eCommerce platform
Create and maintain OpenAPI specifications to ensure clarity and standardization in API development
Implement robust testing by writing comprehensive unit tests to guarantee quality and stability
Deploy and enhance eCommerce solutions by building new capabilities and marketspecific customizations
Ensure robustness and security by implementing best practices for performance security and automated testing
Collaborate with frontend developers UX designers and product teams to ensure seamless delivery and integration of digital solutions
Must have competences
Proficiency in Java and the Spring framework
Experience with SAP integrations and designing RESTful APIs
Familiarity with OpenAPI/Swagger for documenting API specifications
Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks
Experience building robust scalable APIs in an enterprise setting
Ability to integrate with complex systems especially within SAP environments
Strong problemsolving skills and a proactive mindset
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced crossfunctional team environment
Nice to have competences
Experience deploying and enhancing eCommerce solutions
Knowledge of best practices for performance security and automated testing
Critical and analytical thinking skills
Experience collaborating with frontend developers UX designers and product teams
Additional information
The role is based in Barcelona with a preference for candidates in or near the area. The start date is ASAP and the working language is English.
