Job Description
- Define and execute the overall Data Analytics vision and strategy in alignment with organizational goals.
- Identify opportunities to leverage data to solve critical business problems and create value.
- Stay updated on industry trends emerging technologies and best practices in analytics.
- Oversee the endtoend delivery of data analytics projects ensuring high quality and timely .
- Develop and implement processes standards and governance for project management and delivery.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams (IT business data science etc. to ensure seamless project .
- Manage budgets timelines and resources effectively to meet delivery commitments.
- Build mentor and manage a highperforming analytics team including data scientists analysts and engineers.
- Foster a culture of innovation collaboration and continuous improvement within the team.
- Conduct performance evaluations and ensure team members have opportunities for skill enhancement.
- Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders including senior leadership and clients.
- Translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations for business leaders.
- Build strong relationships with clients ensuring their expectations are met or exceeded.
- Provide guidance on data strategy architecture and infrastructure to ensure scalability and efficiency.
- Oversee the design and implementation of dashboards reports and analytics solutions.
- Ensure adherence to data governance security and compliance standards.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Data Science Statistics Business Administration or related field.
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
- 15 years of experience with a significant portion focused on data analytics and the insurance domain.
- Proven track record of delivering largescale analytics projects successfully.
- Expertise in data analytics tools and technologies (e.g. SQL Python R Tableau Power BI).
- Knowledge of big data platforms like Hadoop Spark or Snowflake is a plus.
- Familiarity with machine learning and AI applications in insurance.
- Comprehensive understanding of insurance workflows regulatory requirements and industry challenges.
- Experience in leveraging analytics for key insurance use cases such as risk modelling customer segmentation and operational efficiency.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide large teams.
- Strong clientfacing and stakeholder management skills.
