Job Description
- Pure tone air and bone conduction audiometry
- Speech audiometry Immittance testing (tympanometry and acoustic reflex)
- Otoacoustic emissions (OAE) testing
- Behavioral audiological assessments
- Diagnostic testing
- Hearing aid evaluations
- Referrals to ENT or other medical providers when needed
- Evaluation reports
- Recommendations
- Billing and service forms compliant with program and NYS guidelines
- Masters Degree or Doctorate in Audiology from an accredited institution.
- Current and valid New York State Audiologist license.
- At least two years of clinical experience preferably with pediatric and special populations.
- Experience with public health or educational audiology services is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse populations and team members.
- Must pass background check and provide proof of required credentials vaccinations and insurance if operating as an independent contractor.
- Experience with Early Intervention (EI) or Preschool Special Education programs.
- Familiarity with Medicaid billing and NYS documentation standards.
- Bilingual ability (Spanish or ASL) is a plus.
