KPFF Consulting Engineers is hiring a fulltime Marketing Coordinator to join our structural engineering division in Portland Oregon. The ideal candidate is ambitious thoughtful creative and detail oriented. This role will be responsible for creating compelling content and engaging graphics maintaining consistency across channels and assisting in creation of marketing materials to drive our firms qualification proposal pursuit recruiting and marketing initiatives. You will thrive in this job if you find joy in working with a closeknit team understand the need for ongoing prioritization appreciate the balance of autonomy and feedback and want to develop meaningful creative work that supports the built environment. This is NOT a good fit if you need a lot of defined processes prefer siloed work environments or have difficulty managing multiple concurrent deadlines. This position provides marketing services to engineers whose clients are architects developers contractors and public agencies. Our marketing staff is valued and empowered to be innovative in their approach and passionate about their work. How we treat one another is as important as the work we do. This position interacts with all levels of the firm as well as clients and subconsultants.
Role Description
- Manage subconsultant qualification requests and client deliverables
- Prepare and create written and graphic materials for internal and external audiences; including presentations advertisements articles brochures press releases and more
- Coordinate awards competition entries; ensure compliance with award requirements
- Maintain the marketing database (Cosential); input and update client project and other supporting information; maintain content library including previous proposals boilerplates and visuals
- Support internal communications efforts
- Coordinate specialized consultants (photographers videographers etc)
- Create and curate website blog and social media content
- Maintain staff registrations & professional staff licensure list
- Assist in the coordination of internal events (quarterly meetings annual community and client events food drives internal company culture events exhibits and conferences)
Qualifications :
- Bachelors Degree in English Marketing Journalism Communications Education Business or other relevant major OR a related combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 3 years professional experience in marketing; architecture engineering or construction industries are a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft (Word Excel Powerpoint)
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite including (InDesign Illustrator Photoshop)
- Experience capturing and maintaining data in a database (Cosential or similar system such as Salesforce and Ajera or Deltek a plus)
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with an ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Excellent writing proofreading editing and document production skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and a desire to learn
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple assignments concurrently

Compensation
- Base pay range of $68000 $76000 annually based on qualifications and prior experience
- Overtime paid at timeandahalf with regular opportunity for overtime available
- Biannual bonus structure
