The Singapore Commercial team oversees shapes and grows the business in Grab Singapore. We contribute towards Grabs vision of being Southeast Asias superapp by providing everyday services that matter most to consumers in Singapore. We develop and execute business strategies that help us achieve our vision in serving our community.
The team is responsible for growing and managing the accounts of F&B businesses across GrabFood. Ensuring close partnership with these merchants we develop plans and strategies to drive their sales and meet their business needs across the different services in Grab such as Express Pay and Ads.
You will be responsible for business development account management and partner successcollaborating across Grabs ecosystem to create valuedriven solutions.
This role will be onsite and based in the One North office.
Get to know the Role:
As the Account Manager (Managed Accounts) you will be responsible for:
Establishing and managing strong business relationships with existing and potential new merchants to drive growth on GrabFood
Leading all elements of account management including business identification business development strategy partner negotiation daytoday account management and of key initiatives
Driving growth in F&B accounts as measured by deliveries GMV and revenue as well as forming deeper relationships with partners through collaboration in other Grab verticals such as GrabPay GrabAds and GrabExpress
Identifying upsell and crosssell opportunities such as SaaS solutions for reservations paid marketing tools and other initiatives
The daytoday activities:
Work with the Head of Commercial (GrabFood) and Account Management Lead on business development strategy.
Manage a portfolio of accounts with a focus on building strong relationships and increasing profitability/revenue.
Evaluate strategic and partnership opportunities performing a broad range of quantitative and qualitative analyses.
Analyzing data and developing initiatives to increase revenues/profitability for your portfolio.
Drive growth for key accounts measured by deliveries and GMV and ensure that the partner thrives on the platform.
Promote adoption of SaaSbased solutions for reservations and marketing tools to enhance merchant visibility and engagement.
Work across functions to tailor account specific needs (e.g. customized reporting marketing support integrations product etc. to make sure accounts have the best possible experience on the GrabFood platform.
Continuously engage our merchants and listen to their needs collect and address feedback and address concerns put forward.
Drive operational excellence by working with the merchants and operations teams.
Work closely with business teams to develop joint business plans conduct regular business reviews and pitch strategic initiatives.
Qualifications :
The must haves:
Bachelors degree in Business / Management or equivalent.
Minimum 24 years of experience in account management business development partnerships or equivalent role.
Experienced in handling Key Accounts and Strategic Partnerships
Able to manage conversations with Clevel positions and senior stakeholders
Experience in F&B industry is a plus
Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to identify and provide comprehensive solutions for varying customer needs
Demonstrated ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations
Have a competitive edge and thrive in a team environment
Comfortable with managing data and able to perform analysis (e.g. to solve business problems)
Detailoriented and organized
Able to work with uncertainty and navigate ambiguity effectively
The good to haves:
Experience in B2B sales SaaS account management or food delivery platforms.
Basic knowledge of SQL for data analysis.
Conversational proficiency in Mandarin Chinese for merchant communication.
