Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and efficient Event Dishwasher to join our dynamic team in Barcelona Spain for FORMULA 1 ARAMCO GRAN PREMIO DE ESPAA 2025 (from 29 May to 1 June). As a crucial member of our event staff you will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in our fastpaced kitchen environment during various events and gatherings.
- Clean and sanitise dishes glassware cutlery pots pans and kitchen utensils using manual and automatic dishwashing equipment
- Ensure proper storage and organisation of clean items in their designated areas
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area including work surfaces and floors
- Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and detergents as needed
- Assist in the disposal of food waste and recycling in accordance with local regulations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy event periods
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines including proper handling of cleaning chemicals
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the kitchen by maintaining a clean and organised workspace
- Respond promptly to any additional cleaning requests from kitchen staff or event organisers
Qualifications :
- Previous experience as a dishwasher in a highvolume restaurant or event setting is preferred
- Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced highpressure environment
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items when required
- Keen attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Flexibility to work varying shifts including evenings weekends and holidays
- Knowledge of proper sanitation and hygiene practices in a commercial kitchen setting
- Goaloriented mindset with a focus on meeting efficiency targets
- Resilience and ability to remain calm under pressure
- Basic understanding of kitchen operations and workflow is advantageous
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed
- Strong organisational skills and time management abilities
