ENJOY A PARTTIME POSITION OR COMBINE TWO POSITIONS FOR FULLTIME
Centurion of Florida is proud to be the provider of mental health services to the Florida Department of Corrections.
POSITION OPTIONS:
FullTime Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner 40 hours per week)
- provide 3 days 24 hours of coverage) at Jackson CI in Malone Florida
- provide 2 days 16 hours of coverage) at Apalachee CI in Sneads Florida
OR
PartTime Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner 24 hours per week)
- provide 3 days 24 hours of coverage) at Jackson CI in Malone Florida
OR
PartTime Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner 24 hours per week)
- provide 2 days 16 hours of coverage) at Apalachee CI in Sneads Florida
The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner provides mental health/psychiatric assessment diagnosis and treatment for patients under the clinical direction of a psychiatrist and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team in providing mental health services to patients in a correctional setting.
Provide outpatient and close management services within these male correctional institution.
Qualifications
Job Qualifications:
ANCC or ANA certification as an APRNPMH or NCCPA Physician Assistants with CAQ in Psychiatry of qualifications
Active unrestricted Florida APRNPMH or PA CAQ license
Active unrestricted Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration certificate
Prior correctional mental health is highly desired
Prior locked unit experience is highly desired
Able and willing to pass a comprehensive background investigation
Work legally in the United States without sponsorship
