Role Overview
As a Principal Engineer LLM you will design and optimize largescale language models lead AI research and build highperformance AI systems. Youll mentor engineers collaborate with crossfunctional teams and drive innovation in AIpowered products.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop & Optimize LLMs: Train finetune and deploy largescale AI models for realworld applications.
- Enhance AI Infrastructure: Build scalable efficient AI pipelines using cloud and distributed computing.
- Drive AI Research: Innovate in areas like model compression retrievalaugmented generation and AI ethics.
- Lead & Mentor: Guide engineers and researchers to improve AI engineering practices.
- Develop and deliver highquality software solutions using industryaligned programming languages frameworks and tools.
- Ensure code is scalable maintainable and optimized for performance.
- Work with product managers designers and other engineers to define requirements and devise solution strategies.
- Ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate with peers participate in code reviews and promote best coding practices.
- Foster a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
- Stay updated on emerging technology trends and innovations.
- Contribute to technology communities to drive technical excellence and growth.
- Follow secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities and protect sensitive data.
- Ensure software solutions adhere to security standards.
- Implement effective unit testing practices to improve code design readability and reliability.
Qualifications :
What You Bring
- 10 years in software/AI engineering with 5 years in LLMs and deep learning.
- Expertise in transformer models and frameworks.
- Experience with cloud AI infrastructure (AWS GCP Azure) and model optimization techniques.
- Strong problemsolving skills and a passion for AI innovation.
- Define and drive AI/LLM strategy architecture and implementation.
- Plan and optimize resources budgets and policies for AI/LLM projects.
- Build scalable efficient and secure AI infrastructure.
- Ensure continuous improvements in model performance reliability and efficiency.
- Lead AI/LLM research in areas like model compression retrievalaugmented generation and responsible AI.
- Guide and mentor engineers in best practices for LLM development and deployment.
- Establish coding testing and deployment standards for AIdriven systems.
- Ensure AI solutions align with business objectives and crossfunctional strategies.
- Lead highimpact AI/LLM initiatives balancing short and longterm goals.
- Provide technical expertise in AI/ML deep learning and distributed systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align AI solutions with organizational goals.
