Position Overview
The SAP FICO Application Analyst will work on business systems design configuration upgrades and improvements for assigned technology platforms. As a primary support contact for SAP endusers the SAP FICO Application Analyst will work to identify issues that arise in the SAP FICO area as well as issues that impact other application teams and work to resolve them. The SAP FICO Application Analyst will perform impact analysis of desired changes build and test systems changes conduct enduser training create and maintain documentation and identify areas of improvement associated with opportunities to enable business processes and requirements.
The SAP FICO Application Analyst requires a deep understanding of financial processes and SAP FICO functionality to support our business objectives and contribute to our ongoing success. They will have handson experience with various areas of SAP FICO configuration and integrations with other modules such as MM PP and SD. They will work closely with the Lead SAP FICO App Analyst ERP Technical team and Architects to implement solutions including configuration alignment and/or customizations to accommodate functionality gaps. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner customer serviceoriented adaptable to change and a team player. They will take the initiative to identify and act on opportunities that benefit our stakeholders and align with our priorities.
Essential Duties
Include but are not limited to the following:
- Responsible for business systems design and configuration upgrades and improvements for low complexity applications using established processes and procedures.
- Estimate and assess impact of requested changes to assigned business system and/or platform.
- Guide workflow design configure and test system changes and analyze technical issues.
- Develop new processes and procedures in partnership with leadership and business teams.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
- Contribute to peer design and code reviews.
- Identify issues that arise in the application area as well as issues that impact other application teams and work to resolve them.
- Create and maintain system documentation.
- Liaise with business systems stakeholders and software vendors implementation staff to ensure alignment of business needs with the delivery of system changes.
- Develop an understanding of operational needs to set the direction for the organizations workflows; proactively identify opportunities to improve business workflow with technology improvements.
- Help develop document and participate in trainings and work with end users.
- Troubleshoot problems and questions and provide regular updates on status.
- Provide enduser production support for issues entered into issue tracking systems.
- Review the status of projects and issues with project leadership.
- Demonstrate flexibility with respect to changing enduser business needs.

- Ability and means to travel between local Exact Sciences locations.
- Ability to travel 5 of working time away from work location may include overnight/weekend travel.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in related field as outlined in the essential duties; or High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 4 years of relevant experience as outlined in the essential duties in lieu of Bachelors Degree.
- 3 years of experience developing or configuring technology solutions either in an application analyst or project delivery role.
- Demonstrated ability to understand industry best practices.
- Strong computer skills to include internet navigation and email usage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
- Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience configuring business systems software in a life sciences health care or related industry.
- Solid understanding of PlantoReport business processes and related SAP functionality/configuration (including but not limited to: FICO FIAA AR Revenue Treasury/BCM/EBS).
- Experience working within Accounting or FP&A functions.
- Experience working on SAP HANA 2020 and configuring SAP FICO AR Treasury modules with general understanding of integrations with other SAP modules such as SD PP and MM.
- Experience implementing or supporting SAP Fiori.
- Participated in 1 or more SAP implementations specifically supporting the FICO modules.
- Previous experience supporting SAP endusers.
- Experience with other Finance solutions such as SAP Concur OneStream or SAP Analytics Cloud.
Salary Range:
$67000.00 $109000.00The annual base salary shown is for this position located in US WI Madison on a fulltime basis. In addition this position is bonus eligible and is eligible to be considered for company stock at hire and on an annual basis.
