Job Description:

Department: Office of the Provost

Reports to: Chief of Staff

Key Responsibilities

  • Front office greeter/receptionist

    • Maintain and support a professional and welcoming atmosphere in the reception area for the Provosts Suite

  • Help organize Vice Provosts daily activities including calendar management and call screening for Vice Provost for Undergraduate Excellence and the Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs

  • Supervise Work Study and other student employees

  • Assist with Academic and Student Life signature events and projects including:

    • Student Commencement Speaker selection

    • FirstYear Academic Convocation (space reservations work orders etc.

    • Commencement programs and materials

  • Provide administrative support for Provost and other Academic and Student Life administrators as requested including special projects

  • Administrative duties as needed (purchase requisitions expense reports etc.

  • Maintain office and kitchen supply inventory

  • Other duties as assigned

This is an inperson position is based at Fairfield Universitys Fairfield CT campus and is not eligible for immigration assistance.
