Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Pipefitter to join our team. This role involves the installation maintenance and repair of pipe systems in commercial settings with a focus on plumbing HVAC piping and MEDGAS. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical systems and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Install repair and maintain piping systems including HVAC and MEDGAS in
commercial facilities.
Interpret and follow blueprints specifications and technical drawings for project
installations.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with pipe systems ensuring safety and efficiency.
Follow industry regulations and safety guidelines especially concerning MEDGAS
systems.
Collaborate with team members and contractors to ensure project deadlines are met.
Requirements:
MEDGAS Certification (required).
Proven experience in pipefitting plumbing HVAC piping and mechanical systems.
Strong understanding of safety codes and regulations related to MEDGAS and
pipefitting.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
Working Conditions:
The position requires the ability to work in various commercial environments perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 75 lbs and operate in both indoor and outdoor settings sometimes in challenging weather conditions.
