PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provides system support for operating environment components such as databases operating systems network interfaces storage systems servers and associated hardware
• Verifies and approves plans for upgrading of databases recommends adding new structures or elements & enables use of data access tools and techniques to enable information access by business users
• Verifies and approves plans for scheduled background logs recovery backups and coordinate with all the stakeholders & users to deploy the same
• Brings improvements in procedures and functions for accessing maintaining and populating databases and creating backups managing access controls managing version upgrades
• Acts as a senior Systems Administrator for enterprise applications by addressing system problems and enhancing system functionality based on stakeholder feedback
• Provides expertise within and daytoday end user support for CRM applications to all levels of the organization
• Evaluates improvement recommendations and prioritizes changes/enhancements for improved systems availability reliability and performance
• Recommends and deploys structural changes to the operating environment in collaboration with Infrastructure information security and vendor teams
• Releases public area documentation and manages key information such as build and release procedures dependencies and notification lists
• Works with application system vendor infrastructure and IT solutions team to assess the operating environment requirements and ensure its documentation
• Assists in defining the operating environment requirements test cases and action plans to ensure its readiness for new installation or migration
• Participates in Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings once a week as an acting member of the CAB
• Creates and refines reports dashboards and processes to continuously monitor data quality and integrity and assists users and stakeholders with analytics and report design and management
• Develops training materials and documentation keeps materials uptodate coordinates new user and ongoing training sessions and conducts trainings
• Partners with Stakeholders which may include HR Payroll Finance Audit Benefits Legal associates and vendors to determine strategic needs defines functional/technical specifications troubleshoot issues and implement initiatives
• Utilizes complex reporting tools to develop document and monitor crossprocess data integration points in futurestate business process designs facilitate resolution of misalignment across process areas.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• • Primary point of contact for all SAP Basis issues related to the SAP environment.
  • Primary resource for Shell scripting and automation of recurring tasks for Technical Administration team.
  • Will work closely with infrastructure teams (servers network etc) to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
  • Interface with the Basis team to effectively manage the workload.
  • Actively manage the performance of the SAP landscape including capacity planning and tuning.
  • Coordinate with other Basis product leads to ensure software consistency across the SAP landscape.
  • Will participate in the IT Change Management process and validate/approval all SAP related changes.
  • Keeps abreast of new developments and forecasts of future trends in the areas of SAP technology.
  • Works with internal and external customers to understand their requirements to form a forwardthinking architectural vision for the infrastructure of the Company.
  • Provide input on and support new projects affecting the SAP environments.
  • Engage and interface directly with SAP as required for product support/questions.
  • Defines solutions by identifying requirements and writing functional specifications; consults with technical subject matter experts.
  • Advises on options risks costs versus benefits and impact on other business processes and system priorities; contributes to cost versus benefit measures.
  • Performs related duties as assigned.
• EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Requires a BS Degree in Computer Science Information Technology or equivalent as well as SAP Certification. Normally requires a minimum of 3 plus years directly related and progressively responsible experience in leading architecture design and implementation. Must have experience in developing complex shell scripts. Must have experience with multiple SAP implementation lifecycles and production SAP infrastructure operations. Requires experience with implementation operating and performance management of SAP S/4 SAP PO SAP Fiori SAP Solution Manger SAP BTP SAP LVM HANA Cockpit SAP SLT SAP ECC system on Oracle Database & SAP HANA in OnPrem and Public cloud such as Azure GCP AWS. Expertise with SAP product release upgrades OS/DB Migration and SAP HANA DB upgrades. Good working knowledge of running SAP in High Availability and Disaster Recovery setup Configuring SAP/HANA DB in HA products such as Veritas Pacemaker. Exposure to DevOps tools such as Jenkins Jira Bitbucket Experience with SAP RCA (Root Cause Analysis) and BPiM (Business Process/Interface Monitoring) tools a plus. Candidates should also have experience working with 3rd party bolton applications including but not limited to Vendavo Vertex OpenText Document management and Redwood/CPS.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Information Technology or any other related discipline or equivalent related experience.

• ITIL ITSM Certifications

WORK EXPERIENCE:

2 years of directlyrelated or relevant experience preferably in application support or system/application/database administration.
