Job Description
Position Summary:
The primary objective of the plastic welder is to setup and operate fabrication equipment according to print specifications to meet the production demands in a timely manner. In addition to ensuring that quality guidelines and customer expectations are being met to the Satellite Suite standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints and engineering instructions
- Cut and shape material to required specs
- Operating plastic fabricating/welding equipment
- Understand and meet safety quality productivity and delivery goals and expectations
- Maintain and care for all shop tools machines and equipment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in plastic welding a plus.
- At least two years of related experience and/or training
- Understanding of all equipment tools and gages related to fabrication
- Must be able to read a blueprints
- Attention to detail
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Effective communication and problem solving
- Exceptional attendance record

Compensation:
The pay range listed is the base pay range that Satellite Shelters inc/Satellite Industries Inc. reasonably expects to pay someone for this position (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors including but not limited to a candidates qualifications skills competencies experience location and end client requirements).
