Job Description
The Department of Emergency Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville Florida is seeking a supplemental academic Emergency Medicine physician. The successful candidate must be a residency trained ABEM/ABOEM board certified / eligible physician with a demonstrated interest in academic emergency medicine.
This opportunity includes the following:
- Ability to join a faculty with commitment to excellence in practice education and research in a >30000 visit/year high acuity Emergency Department.
- Ability to contribute to educational mission of Mayo Clinic working closely with learners inside and outside ofthe Emergency Department (e.g. medical students nursing students residents from multiple specialties)
- A worldclass multidisciplinary simulation center
- Numerous opportunities for collaborative multidisciplinary and multisite research across Mayo Clinic
