Job Description
STARTING APRIL:
We are looking for a dynamic and proactive Mate & Chef/Stew couple team to help run this Oyster 82 for an experienced sailor / racer owner.
This will be a busy dualseason private program for the Mediterranean and Caribbean including Croatia early summer then Monacco and Cannes for the racing. The Oyster 82 will be used as the mothership during racing. The yacht may also be used for corporate management events/cruising.
The owner and his sailor friends will be actively sailing most of the passages. Any other friends / family will expect more gentle destination cruising. As the proud sponsor of a kids charity the owner will also invite underpriviledged kids on board from time to time to learn new life experiences.
This yacht recently purchased is currently berthed in Barcelona is undergoing preseason works. The new Captain has now been selected.
This yacht will run with 3 professional crew and a high level of service is expected. The standards will be aligned with those of a superyacht so relevant experience is preferred.
Crew accommodation will be a comfortable bunk room forward of the galley.
Requirements
1st Mate:
YM Offshore
Racing experience preferred
Superyacht experience preferred
STCW
ENG 1
Chef:
Accustomed to working on board sailing yachts preferred
Level 2 Food Hygiene
Food portfolio/ proven chef experience
Superyacht experience preferred
STCW
