Job Description

Position Summary
We are looking for a postdoctoral fellow to develop and apply innovative microscopy methods to visualize and quantify organelle morphology dynamics and interactions. Microscopy modalities will include multispectral superresolution and labelfree microscopy. Analyses will be performed using custom Pythonbased image analysis pipelines. Our lab studies how lipids move within cells and between cells for example from astrocytes to neurons. We use cuttingedge microscopy and biochemical techniques including superresolution microscopy multispectral imaging and spatial proteomics. We use these approaches to understand how defects in lipid trafficking contribute to metabolic and neurodegenerative diseases.

Required Qualifications Competencies And Experience
Demonstrated record of productivity in the form of preprints and/or peerreviewed publications

Preferred Qualifications Competencies And Experience
Experience with cell culture molecular biology biochemistry light microscopy and image analysis are preferred. Experience with coding in Python and R is preferred.
