Job Description
As a Consultant at Wavestone you will serve as trusted business advisor to our clients while leading a variety of businessrelated engagements. You will have the opportunity to be a handson leader gathering and analyzing data exploring innovative solutions making actionable recommendations and communicating with key stakeholders while ensuring that projects run seamlessly from start to finish. Your enthusiasm and creativity in finding solutions will help our clients achieve their vision.
In this role you will lead and manage client engagements with a primary focus on delivering strategic and operational consulting services to life science organizations.
In this role you will help lead and advise client engagements. This role provides an opportunity to broaden your leadership skills work across a variety of industries and exercise your entrepreneurial spirit to deliver superior results for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Participate directly in client engagements providing expert insights and ensuring projects run seamlessly from start to finish.
- Lead and facilitate client workshops and project meetings while providing a unique point of view.
- Participate in proposal development and delivery to client organizations.
- Lead well developed workstreams and small projects with confidence deliver structure where there is ambiguity resolve stakeholder resistance and risks ensure timely and costeffective delivery of work and implement high value outcomes.
- Collaborate with an internal network of skilled consultants to solve client problems and deliver high impact projects.
- Work closely with diverse teams to deliver results and foster an environment to recognize and reward individual and team achievements.
- Present findings both internally at Wavestone and externally to clients that include data acquisition and insights.
- Build rapport and nurture relationships with clients to identify collaborative efforts and propose new business opportunities.
- Continually evolve and build a knowledge base (emergent trends technologies and approaches).
Qualifications :
Education
- Bachelors degree in variety of disciplines to include Business Marketing Technology Engineering Human Resources Organizational Effectiveness/ Design or other relevant fields.
- Masters/MBA degree preferred.
Required Experience
- 2 years of management consulting experience with a primary focus in the life science sector.
- Prior work experience from a variety of business projects such as business integration organizational change digital/brand marketing new product launches mergers & acquisitions or system integrations.
- Prior work experience from a variety of business projects.
- Project delivery work experience supporting welldeveloped workstreams and small projects.
- Welldeveloped financial and business acumen from working in a variety of business functions including supply chain finance operations IT HR marketing and sales.
- Experience in both Agile and Waterfall project methodologies. Expertise in multiple project management tools.
- Ability to create simple solutions in complex and unclear situations and synthesize a path forward.
- Leadership skills and the ability to influence crossfunctional teams.
- Demonstrated strategic big picture thinking paired with the ability to pivot and deep dive into the details as required.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office products including the ability to develop compelling communication of complex concepts using PowerPoint.
- Strong written and oral communications skills including the ability to communicate concisely and clearly at both line and senior management levels.
- Ability to travel based on client requirements.
Preferred Experience
- Process improvement/Six Sigma/Lean Sigma experience.
