Title: The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)/Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT)

Job Duties: The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)/Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) provides direct nursing care to the clients according to physicians orders and applicable client care standards within their scope of practice. The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)/Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) will provide direction to nonlicensed personnel in providing direct client care and operation of the unit.

Schedule:

• FullTime: PM
• PartTime: Overnight

Qualifications:

• Current licensure in California as an LVN or LPT.
• Previous experience in mental health nursing is preferred.
• Current CPR and first aid certifications.
• Knowledge of DBT WRAP and Psychosocial Rehabilitation principles is preferred.

About the Campus: Located in the beautiful central California coastal city of Santa Barbara Clients are welcomed into our safe calming and homelike environment where they will receive compassionate recovery support from our diverse team of clinical staff who are trained in TraumaInformed Approaches of care. Our clients receive comprehensive mental health services and support for up to 23 hours. After this they are referred to mental health services in the community that will best meet their needs so that they may continue their recovery journey.
