DescriptionAs a skilled and compassionate RN you will play a pivotal role in our healthcare team leading the coordination of patient care with assessment planning implementation and evaluation. You will direct and lead other assigned team members and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide age/developmentally appropriate care in accordance with nursing standards of care and practice.

What Youll Need
- Graduation from accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
- Registered Nurse licensure from the State of North Carolina Board of Nursing
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 1 year of hire per unit guidelines
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within 1 year of hire per unit guidelines
Job Responsibilities (Not Limited To)
- Patient/Family Centered Care:Provide patient/family centered care using the nursing process and focusing on the physical emotional spiritual cultural religious and environmental needs. This includes providing for the assessment development of nursing diagnoses outcome identification planning implementation of interventions coordination of care health teaching and promotion and evaluation of goals and interventions consistent with the policies of WFBMC.
- Safe Therapeutic and Healing Environment: Maintains a safe therapeutic and healing environment through ensuring patient privacy and responsive respectful accepting and professional behavior.

- Pointofcare Testing: Performs and maintains competency for pointofcare testing as assigned waived and or nonwaived ensuring compliance with WFBH policies and with applicable state and federal regulations.
- Patient Advocacy: Act as a passionate patient advocate throughout the continuum of care advocating for their needs and preferences in all patient settings including the community.
- Care Management and Clinical Prioritization: Coordinate the effective and efficient delivery of patient care services by applying care management principles. Identify clinical priorities and initiate action to continuously improve patient outcomes.
- Promotion of Healthy Work Environment: Demonstrates ability to function in a professional practice model through active participation in shared governance promotion of a healthy work environment and acceptance of personal responsibility for professional growth.
