About the role
We seek a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to design and implement the embedded software for energy management gateways thereby ensuring the successful delivery of cuttingedge solutions. You will be working in a multisite team and expected to interface across multiple functions.
What you will do
- Design and implement embedded software for Linux based systems.
- Ability to debug and troubleshoot issues in complex systems.
- Ability to carry a design task from concept to implementation.
- Ability to document engineering requirements document solutions and test new firmware designs.
- Working with cross functional teams to test and troubleshoot issues. Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle including Agile methodology
- Selfmotivated individual with the ability to work under minimal supervision
Who you are and what you bring
- Bachelors degree in computer science Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in embedded software development with a strong focus on automotive or energyrelated applications.
- Good experience with designing and implementing complex Linux based embedded and IoT systems.
- Good experience with developing Java based drivers and applications on the device
- Good experience with networking and communication protocols like OCPP Modbus mDNS ARP
- Good understanding of embedded software architectures operating systems (e.g. Linux RTOS) and programming languages (e.g. C C).
- Nice to have experience with Golang programming language OSGi for java component system OSTree technology
