What youll be doing
You will be joining CIBCs Finance Technology team. As the Senior Manager Application Development is a professional responsible for managing multiple development projects development groups and application support functions for a major line of business. The role applies professional knowledge to oversee the development testing and implementation of organizationwide systems directing motivating and developing staff to maximize their individual contribution and function effectively as a team. The Senior Manager Application Development leads a team to manage resource requirements and allocations monitor and improve quality and ensure best practice development techniques. Additionally the role works with the business in the development testing and implementation of application programs that help promote business improvement.

How youll succeed
Relationship Management Work closely with clients and business partners to develop test and implement application program. Impact and improve the business by advising application owners on the technology possibilities and requirements.
Understanding Requirements Track and analyze operating environment for specified services and implement corrective actions as needed. Work with clients and internal partners to determine negotiate and manage services to the agreed standards. Monitor service levels to identify opportunities for improvement and recommend appropriate solutions.
People Leadership Lead and coach a high performing group team of individuals. Direct motivate and develop your team maximizing their contributions and professional growth. Share knowledge and collaborate to come up with effective solutions to problems.
Who you are
You can demonstrate experience with: 58 years leading a team of developers and are a seasoned professional with the ability to coach and help develop other team members. You are a code quality champion with handson experience in Azure Application Development and Solution Design.Its an Asset if: You have good understanding of ETL Oracle solutions. Ideally you understand patterns of designing applications for cloud.
You have a degree/diploma in Computer Science Business and/or a related field.
