As a Closer in the home lending department you will be responsible for reviewing and finalizing title and closing documents ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements. Your role involves interacting with internal partners and external vendors to meet business requirements and deadlines providing exceptional service throughout the process.
Job Responsibilities
- Review and analyze title documents for accuracy and compliance.
- Identify and address discrepancies in title documents promptly.
- Obtain and verify title fees for accurate reflection in closing documents.
- Prepare and review closing disclosures and final documentation.
- Communicate with title companies internal partners and vendors to coordinate closing documents.
- Manage the pipeline assertively addressing issues or delays.
- Maintain detailed records for audit and compliance purposes.
- Provide exceptional customer service to stakeholders.
- Demonstrate urgency in resolving title issues and preparing documents for tight deadlines.
- Keep clear notes with ETAs to ensure alignment among all parties.
Required Qualifications Capabilities and Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in real estate or finance is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail analytical and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
