How Youll Make An Impact
As a Software Engineer 2 you will be responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software based on the customers business goals needs and general business environment. You will work with product management other engineering teams customer success and support on developing cutting edge new product features and enhancements across various areas of Boomi offerings.
What You Will Do
- Be an active member of an Agile team collaboratively realizing features through the software development lifecycle
- Participate in design development and unit testing of the Boomi products including enhancements and/or resolution of any issues that may be reported
- Investigate and resolve complex customer issues
The Experience You Bring
- 2 years of experience in software development
- Ability to learn new tools languages and operating systems with some training and onthejob experience
- Experience in software development using the Java programming language including the use of some IDE with a solid understanding of objectoriented design concepts for delivering and maintaining a software product
- Experience with REST Web Services technology
- Experience with Java source control systems continuous integration tools
Bonus Points If You Have
- Familiarity with key/secret management
- Experience with agile collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments
- Familiarity with with SQL relational database systems and ORM tools like Hibernate
- Familiarity with AWS infrastructure
- Familiarity with testdriven development
- Familiarity with microservices development using Spring Boot
