Employee must be comfortable working in a culturally diverse community and committed to embracing differences.Education and Certification RequirementsHave completed or are in the process of the completion of a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood education or a related equivalence. Ages 2.96 (Primary) Montessori certification from an AMS or AMI accredited Montessori training center. Working towards or have EEC lead teacher licensure. General ResponsibilitiesIn the Montessori environment the teachers role is to continue to prepare the classroom using the full complement of Montessori materials as well as supplemental materials.Foster a socialemotional prepared environment that supports childrens development encourages selfregulation and promotes positive interactions and conflict resolution skills through activities and interactions.AdministrativePrepare written reports through an online app for each child (twice a year) including academic organizational developmental and social growth.
