Medavie is seeking an experienced and dynamic Vice President Life and Disability to oversee our claims operations. This role is pivotal in supporting our insurance business ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and advancing the value of our life and disability services.
Key Responsibilities
Required Qualifications
Education:
Undergraduate degree in a related field business degree and Masters degree would be considered an asset
Work Experience:
Minimum of 15 years progressive experience in a complex service based industry within the healthcare/disability insurance field with a minimum of 10 years of operations leadership experience
Skills
Language Skills:
Bilingual preferred but certainly not required.

Assesses financial impacts of life and disability management practices across the organization and implements strategies to achieve efficiencies.
